How to Operate Industrial Packaging Machine?

Like traditional pulp molding machine, the working process of industrial packaging equipment has 4 stages: pulping – molding – drying/hot pressing – trimming.

Pulping

  • Equipment: hydraulic pulper, pulp tank, refiner, homogenizing tank;
  • Process: put waste paper and water ( ratio 1:5-1:6 ) in the hydraulic pulper – get pulp in the pulp tank – refine pulp in the homogenizing tank;
  • Time: about 20-40 minutes;

Molding

  • Equipment: pulp tank; forming machine, air compressor, vacuum pump;
  • Process: transform pulp to the forming machine – vacuum pump sucks out most of the water to shape the pulp – air compressor separate final products and molds;
  • Time: a few seconds;

Drying/Hot Pressing

  • Equipment: hot press machine (wet press); natural drying
  • Process: put wet trays in the hot press machine- use heat to bring the water away – hot air dries the trays
  • Time: few seconds for hot press machine(wet press); 4 hours for natural drying.

Trimming

  • Equipment: trimming machine;
  • Process: use trimming machine to cut edges of final products;
  • Time: a few seconds.
